He still uses a flip phone and just started texting. I gave him my old iPhone he uses for Internet while at home. I want something he can use just for Internet I guess. Paula
I have never used eBay. For payment it says PayPal, does that mean only?
turkeyfeathers
Pretty sure a few that At n T and maybe others are offering a tablet for free with a smartphone upgrade. I know they were when I upgraded my Iphone. Maybe something to look into if you're up for an upgrade on your phone and he gets the tablet. I didn't want it, didn't need more of a payment. Now the more he plays with the old phone the more questions he has.
woodchuck
PayPal is quick and easy to set up. It will say if they accept other forms of payment in the listing. I just got a galaxy tab S2 a week ago and love it. But, iPads are selling cheap too. Go someplace and try them out then search the Internet and can usually save a lot of money. landtracdeerhunter
Paypal is a major credit card and or bank checking account. Simple to set up. Ebay will link you over to set up. Best to do it before you buy. Some really sweet deals right now. I just bought 2 Dell Laptops D630's refurb.for $89 FF.. Last one lasted me 4 years. fasteddie
PayPal is great and if there is a problem with the seller , they will intercede . I am pretty sure you could go with credit card if you choose not to use PayPal .
nyslowhand
PayPal is pretty much the prefered method of payment for most eBay sellers and a lot of other web based transactions. It started out as eBay's financial, sister company, but a couple years ago it had broken out from eBay's shadow. You can even transfer money to individuals with only their email address or use your checking account as payment. But..it does come with some risks. Your personal and financial info is stored on their website. Although PayPal site is fairly secure, you may be sent bogus emails from hackers posing as PayPal. Depending on your comfort level about identity theft, PayPal is probably the way to go. Does take a couple of days to set-up. Last I knew you became a member, set-up your account, listed method of payment(s) with account #s, PayPal then transferred a penny to your account and you verified this X'fer thru an email & login to your account. Lawdwaz
Paypal is anti gun I've heard many say. I don't know the particulars but I use them quite often for eBay transactions with no issues.
Lawdwaz
If your husband is using an Apple product now it would be helpful to stay with an Apple product like an IPad. Why toss him a curve ball now? I got my wife an iPad a couple years ago and she is pretty dangerous with it now!l

Why toss him a curve ball now? I got my wife an iPad a couple years ago and she is pretty dangerous with it now!l I thought of that. I don't think he needs all the bells and whistles that apple offers. I don't want to have a carrier for anything i buy because he will never leave house with it and i have wifi. He only searches for something now and then and my iphone 4 is kinda small. So for what i have in my head for what i think he will use it Apple is too expensive
