Merlot
Should be a walkover for the conservatives, unless they manage to screw it up.
Doewhacker
Shouldn't this be in the politics section? Anyway, I am thrilled to see Trump loose. Lets hope he doesn't get the nod because if he does the Dems are in.

Doewhacker
The USA has proved that you can say or do anything and still be considered a presidential candidate.
growalot
Not so much actually...I fear for now we are in the same boat we were in at the last presidential elections. For me personally...it was a choice between who was going to do the least damage to this country...I opted out of voting for either...I wanted to have clean hands in either event...not that I did not go and vote..I did vote...just not for the office of president. There is something inherently wrong when the population of a country can not pull at least one quality candidate out of their gene pool.
Merlot
A discouraging time for sure. Now I hear Cruz has been accused of pulling some shenanigans last night with Dr Carson supporters, claiming Dr Carson was dropping out of the race. I like Dr. Carson...seems like a decent candidate, but not much chance in winning, due to not being in with the party bosses...sad really. The_Real_TCIII
The USA has proved that you can say or do anything and still be considered a presidential candidate.Remember Gary Hart? That wouldn't even be news today let alone derail a campaign
phade
As much as I am not a fan of Hillary Clinton, the thought of "feeling the bern" as the other option is exponentially more scary.
Doc
It kind of tells you a lot when the Democrat nominations have Hillary and a socialist as the front-runners. I'm not super excited about the Republican roster of candidates, but for crying out loud ..... Hillary?? .... Bernie?? The U.S. road map is pretty clear these days. We've dropped the façade now. We are being forced into choices between crooks and commies. No offense people but I am damned glad that I have no affiliations with the Democrat party.
pt0217
She won by five votes? I thought she won by five coin tosses. She's obviously not a true liberal. If so she would have given 2 1/2 of those votes to Sanders.
growalot
When it was first reported it was said to be votes... now 6 tosses
pt0217
When I saw them flip a coin I couldn't believe my eyes
pt0217
Can you imagine? Demo rates will regulate anything and everything, layers and layers deep. But they flip a coin to pick their presidential nominee. You can't make this stuff up!
