SuperMag
A while back i posted a thread asking who makes a nice silver scope. I ended up springing for the Leupold vx-2 and so far i love it. Just put it on tonight so i have yet to use it, but here it is on my Remington Ultimate ML. It's mounted on Leupold dual dovetails.
Pygmy
If it says LEUPOLD on it, you won't be disappointed in the performance.

BizCT
swarovski or nothing You Can't Beat My Meat! Top 3 for me:Leupold Zeiss Swaro To me, a $1000 more swaro isn't anywhere close to a $1000 better. That's my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited March 2, 2016 by Biz-R-OWorld

I like the blued finish on walnut look or stainless on black.

I bought a Kales 3-9X42 "American" from Cabelas back in 2000. At $500, not all that expensive given the optical quality. Really good at picking up detail in low light.

SuperMag
Thanks guys, I will definitely report when i site it in. I myself also like blued finish guns and have plenty of them but this was my first gun with a stainless barrel and i like the look of silver scopes on stainless barrels more than a matte black set up. I'm seriously considering carrying this gun all next season.

chas0218
Just curious is that a smokeless ML? I don't follow ML's very closely and have been throwing around the idea of a smokeless one.

No, you cannot shoot smokeless powder out of it. Only black powder substitute.
Five Seasons
any reflection off the silver or it a matte finish?
SuperMag
any reflection off the silver or it a matte finish? It's a matte silver so it doesn't really shine but it's still silver so it does shine a little but it's not over whelming.
