Check my Primos cam which takes bursts of 3, and had a doe the first day 3 weeks ago and then batteries dead? Put in new batteries and cam works. Maybe the other batteries were bad, I don't get it? Sucks. Missed 3 weeks of action on good trail near acorns. Still 1 cam to check after planting.


We kicked up a doe on the way in.

Got some good rain tonight. Perfect timing. Just hope this spot gets enough sunlight for the clover to grow. If not, I'll use throw and grow in a few weeks since I did all the clearing, lime, and fertilizer work already

A few months ago we cleared all the leaves and put lime down. Saturday, just raked in fertilizer, spread clover seeds, and setup blind.

Only used it a few times. We don't use it when walking around checking cams etc. we only use it when we need to carry a bunch of stuff in.

You have some prime property there Biz.

If it was mine, I would put a 14X20 shed up, insulate it, and make a camp. Or at the least a canvas wall tent, wood stove, good cots, and a folding table. I would be spending a lot of time there.
