I know. Not many in Putnam county, but the previous owner said he had a trail cam pic of one once. Near this cam is loaded with raspberries and blackberries so maybe soon!

Do you have any crops in that area? I myself would be concerned big time with no sightings of anything more than a yearling buck. Apple trees any other food source where ya might be able to get a look at a buck?

Acorns about 100 yards away which is also where we are planting clover soon. The other day I got a look at a nice 6 or 8 in person not far from this camera. This is a main trail, I think the bigger bucks just walk thru the heavier stuff.

This buck doesn't look like a yearling to me.

Cool that would draw them to the munchies.  Not much more than a spike...Fat yearling is very possible. That would be the hope anyways.

I added 2 other cams last weekend so hopefully when I check those I will see some of the bucks. I put the other cams near some old buck rubs lower on the property. Not many buck rubs up top where this cell cam is. I'm most intrigued right now by the bobcat, would love to get a shot at it.

Yes, but no plans yet. Just got the property a few months ago. Maybe next year

Thats good! When the time comes, if you want i can get you clippings from my own peach trees and can get you for other fruits as well.
