Got my first buck back yesterday

I got my first buck back from the taxidermy man yesterday but always have trouble adding pictures and shrinking them to fit the sites requirements.  Any help and I'll post pics.

 

I also brought along my friends 12 year old along, he said it was better than going to a NY museum!!

Still working on the pics guys, but in the meantime it really has a strong chemical smell that permeates my little house.  Anyone else experience this?

I never noticed a smell when things come back from the taxidude.....It's been 5 years but I'm expecting to pick one up soon.

I just experienced this with the mount I picked up a couple weeks ago. The mount I previously had did not have his smell to it. Good thing I only sleep in the room I put it in. I'm sure it'll go away with time

Never noticed any smell from my mounts. Picking one up on Friday. Will let you know,.

From what I have read, a bad smell is a bad sign. I have never had one smell bad. I suggest giving your Taxi a call. Could be bacteria?

Never had that problem. Look into it you don't want that in your house especially with kids.

Can't help with the smell of the mount.

The pic thing, I take them with my phone then transfer to my PC and use a free program called Paint.Net to resize them. Then I post them using "More Reply Options".

I would call the taxi man also thats not supposed smell at all...

Are you primarily on your PC or a tablet/phone? If it's the latter load the tapatalk app, uploading pics is a breeze
