Drove the hour to where we hunt. Got caught in passing shower so hid under a poplar tree. That was fine until I had to walk thru 5 foot now rain soaked brush. Set up 2 cams , hopefully they're set up ok as I'm cam novice Apple trees are bunk in production. Wiscoy creek ( native trout stream ) running low. Found a nice snack of black berries while walking around. Hoping I can grab a few nice pics of bucks so daughter and I have an idea what horns she has for youth hunt on Columbus Day weekend. Sunday we should get out and get shooting. Jellyhead tube out and IC tube in to dial in her youth 870 20 gauge with Lightfields 3275840ad0b5b5cb2d5fe6592d11b3cc.jpg7df475802788b9488128348e58cd72cd.jpg97203c31a49b4604f88c8cbfaae1b310.jpg1771fb21185e110c1ad9e187accee2d7.jpg72a4c065aebc6ae1c86ae6c74213282d.jpgd5cc62d55ea0e125321c9b0d6954957e.jpg08eb13312b3fc76c07af5eb6462ef99d.jpg. Checked our blind and my ladder stand all set. She got her 2 dmps and ml tag today. We ate the 3 I shot last year so truly hoping she knocks a couple down this year.

All those berries around maybe you'll get a bear on cam

Really hoping for a bear pic. Pretty sure one of the NYS records comes down from that way. I ate a whole slew of them and felt guilty diminishing the berries for the bear photo op . Setting cams was tough. East and west and sun rising and setting hopefully won't trip the cams too bad. No other options though as trails only go one way. 2 weeks and I'll check them.

So daughter and I checked cams Up 6 days but I wanted to put in a mock scrape and was concerned about the truth cam not working. As suspected it crapped out soon. Pic #2 any ideas ? Pic 4 has 2 bucks in it Pic 8 has pretty big body but can't see its head. Pic 9 is card reader I got from Cabela's for $25. It's easy peasy to use. Pic 10? And last decent buck c0d652ec2c17351d63c7b225f3948f0e.jpg7eaa4562e3adc148e310b5352b1ba765.jpg9329270f641ab594aa245ddeae070e1c.jpg7d350078c21a47540174c94a7add60a8.jpgeae62c3a80fb66bd7a2e4cd1ae4016ab.jpgd817212302a80b8303e68bfe48ead193.jpg6319bc33f413351a92591a471b6835c8.jpgac5d6e5093a0cc2b02c986dd7345e4d3.jpg8018e9622f56e1546593ec7c41fcd10c.jpg8327d4454e036ed9756ca368d7aa4947.jpgd301c1713efa103bbb8b187ef54b61bd.jpg590177d13e43959ad17c63dee0ab58f7.jpg

Tf how do you like that cabelas card reader for your phone? Can you save certain pics to your gallery? What type of cards does it read SD...mini sd ?

It's pretty slick. Have to take off Lifeproof phone cover to insert reader but no big deal. I just screenshot pics on phone and then format using cam. Pretty sure I can save directly from unit but screen shots are easy anyhow. Also think you can delete and format with unit. They make for iPhone and I think model for Samsung phones. Beats buying extra SD cards to swap out. $25. a349598679424aaa81140a0480beac54.jpg
