DirtTime
I just got the two I ordered today. Set them up and checked clearance for drawing and shooting my bow, that's all great. I have no choice but to try using them on a day to day set up this season, so this question came to mind. Where do I hang my bow in these things? turkeyfeathers
Only hunted turkeys from ours . Could you put up a simple S hook off support rod over head and hang it ? Turkey thumpers don't leave our laps.
BKhunter
I usually just rest mine in my lap or lean it against my chair or a wall. They hide your movement so you can get away with a lot when hidden in those things. Some of them you can hang an S hook from the roof but I think that would cause the whole thing to jump up and down when you shift the weight so I never went that route. Buckmaster7600
I have the kick stand that locks on my limbs. It's pretty awesome piece of gear.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

stubby68
I have 2 cabelas extremes and a couple amersteps they all came with a piece of nylon with metal rod with hook on it hanging from center of roof. It was labeled bow hanger. I do not bow hunt so I cut them out. Only pop ups I have ever used so didn't know all didn't have them.
nyslowhand
New blind for me this year, so I'm in market for similar hanger. NO, not all blinds have the built-in bow hanger! Somewhere I came across a gizmo that attaches to the roof struts of a blind for hanging a bow. Look around the web... Also have seen tripod or freestanding bow holders, you simply rest a bow/xbow against. IDK, but looked sort of unstable,!?! Haven't actually purchased anything yet, but inclined to buy one that pushes into the ground.

Even put it on a 2x6 and it would tip over .
DirtTime
Thanks for the replies. If I have to hang it I think I will just get a y stick and poke that in the ground.
Adkhunter1590
I usually lean my bow against my pack. Long stabilizer helps hold it up too. Something like thisSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
fasteddie
Saw this while looking for an ATV picture holding a bow . Looks like something that would be easy to make . You have to make sure it won't slide down the roof support .
Buckmaster7600
This is the kickstand I was talking about. Works awesome. And was like 10$ I leave 1 in every one of my blinds.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What is it called and does it stay on the bow when you shoot or what?

Can't add more then maybe an ounce to the weight of the bow, so shouldn't screw with the tuning of the bow.
