Good 2 hrs. On perch.

Tossed 150 bales of hay this morning after being in the woods scouting turkeys so at 1130 dumped the boat in and was back by 2. Some really good ones today and a lot less sorting. Also had. A handful of largemouth caught a and released.

My perchin' buddies ( whom are much more knowledgeable that I am)   are struggling here in the Fingerlakes..No problem finding  perch, but BIG problem finding any that do not have lockjaw...Not sure what is going on....

not many lol.  only moved 1 time and landed on the pack.  I wanted to do some scouting but couldn't leave fish to find fish.

you should make a run Dan,,,,  I guess the smart @ss answer is they aint using the right bait....  and I rarely EVER use live bait.

takes me a little under 2 minutes a fish to knock the fillets off, rib them, rinse and bag.

All those perch I'm jealous. Same here for hay. We don't start knocking it down with the discbine until late May or early June if it's a dry enough stretch of days. Still selling out of barn too. Loaded a small animal trailer with 253 bales over the weekend.

No minimum size,  it's just that if they are less than 9 or 10 inches, there is not much meat on a filet..
