Whistling broadheads

Well this should be funny.. my new Halon 32 5  with a 350 ibo and 75 rock mods doesn't like the broadheads I have I've shot 2 different broadheads montec 100gr and the freak nasty 3 blade expandables both are pin point accurate but they whistle really loud ...my arrows are cooking at 326fps my arrows weigh in at 418 grains total arrow weight . ... Anybody have any suggestions

Thats a fast rig wow. Just release when u want deer to stop. Then you don't have to say "mehhhh" like they do on tv.

Try a different mechanical? 2 years ago my setup was very similar to that and I got no whistling.

Was told bye jim despart to use the new grim reapers white tail specials cause they are tested up to 400fps...we shall see

Used Fixed BH. Mechanicals are unethical.

Even the fixed blade montecs whistled ..I think it's the speed of the arrows cause my chill r doesn't do it ..

Shoulda bought a Hoyt. They are all silent and faster than Matthews.

Ive owned hoyts no where near as fast lol and they were loud ...hoyts are good for comp shooting

I have had the whistles before, super annoying. I think the Nap practice head whistles, but not the actual head.

ATA standards are more realistic and them Hoyt's ain't no slouches.

I know but I have my own Chrono and my Mathews have always been faster and quiter then hoyts but I will say hoyts are a good competition bow .

Lol na the chill r is still silent... so won't the new bow be once I start changing stuff around ...I wonder how many people use a bow with a 350 ibo with 75 rock mods which just made the bow even faster i wonder what broadheads they use

Your Mathews may be quiet, but far from silent.  You're awful proud of your IBO.  Guess we all gotta be proud of something.  I'm proud that my broadheads don't whistle.  Then again, I shoot a 500+ grain arrow, and give a hoot about speed.  To each his own.  Good luck finding a head that works.  Did you say you tried a Rocket?

By the time they hear it with that speed I don't know if it would matter.   lol  WoW that's a fast bow!

Don't really care about ibo ...just the fact that I can shoot a 418gr arrow at 326fps.. I'm sure the grim reapers white tails will work Jim despart set my bow up and that's what he told me to try will be going to his shop tomarrow so we shall see

I'll put it up against a Hoyt with the same specs any day ..my daughter shoots a Hoyt at 60 pounds and her bow is louder than mine

Up your arrow weight is the easiest solution I see, up front if your spine is stiff enough.

Fast bows are a pain in the keester for broadheads some times. If it ain't a whistle it's plaining. I bet mine still whistle but I just can't hear.

Gonna try the grim reapers first...if it still whistles owell ...I won't have to stop them cause they will stop on there own goin what the hell is that lol

Tried grim reaper whitetail classics no whistle and shockingly no whistle with the muzzy three blade mx3 ..all set now
