Has anyone used Trimmer String to alter the weight of their arrows ? I recall reading an article where they added weight to the arrows by cutting some Trimmer String , pulling off the nock and putting the Trimmer String inside . I have some carbon arrows that are 56 grains lighter than my hunting arrows . I will have to give it a try .

3 rivers archery I believe has weight tubes that would give you a consistent weight. Only thing I would wonder with the string is at the initial release of the arrow would it get pushed to the back of the arrow causing wonky flight .

I put a length of trimmer string in some practice arrows and each arrow weighs 435 grains . The trimmer string is the length of the arrows . The FOC of the arrows is 10.7 % . It will keep me occupied shooting them in the basement each day .
