Spent a week in Barcelona after a hunt.....

Best food ever, terrific folks and places to see. Like to see Madrid someday.

Jealous.^_^

I was advised that Madrid wasn't anything special based on friends who have done that route.  Also that the food was a bit overhyped.  This of course is coming from city slickers.  We're spoiled with food here.  They said Madrid just seems like any other city.

My plan is to fly into Seville or Granada and planning on touring the southern coast.  Hopefully make our way to the Rock of Gibraltar.  Then end up in Barcelona.

Regarding food, it’s true. You can go around the world and try all these restaurants but then realize it’s all here in nyc and even better lol. Although, I feel like Vegas has some really good ones too.

My wife and i have been toying with the idea of taking a weekend to stay in the watertown area and go to the NYS zoo again. It was our first stop on our make shift honeymoon trip around NYS ,we found out she was preggers and decided we needed to do something to celebrate our wedding ,this time we'll have Archer with us.

Asia is the only place where that doesn't hold completely true.  Some of the fruits, spice, etc aren't available here.  One example is the mangosteens are $2 a pop here for something that amounts to a strawberry worth of flesh while in you can get them for pennies in Asia.  And if you haven't had a mangosteen, you're missing out.

For sure !! I'll be after the eyes and maybe some bass. Will also have to find some pockets holding panfish so the kids can jig

Dunno what time of year ypur going but last year the blue green algae closed a lot of beaches for a long time.  And the lake was really green a lot.  Kinda sucked.  Hope for a better year this year.  I live and fish on the far east side of the lake for the most part , but would pass along any tips or areas I can.

If you are adventurous and have a small boat.. one of the best spots I know to catch catfish is below the dam on the Oswegatchie. If you go all the way to the north east end of Black lake to the river and take a left  its roughly 1 mile or so to dam. . The river is shallow though past the park and under the bridge.. I have seen others do it with v bottoms and small motors. We always used a canoe..

Good timing . Lol me and two buddies are having a fishing weekend on the 16th. Last year in mid to late June tore up the jack perch and a few eyes to go with it.  10-13 inch perch. 25 -35 ft of water.  Remind me before and will let you know how it's going and where . Last year was Dixie spinner and worms and floating jigheads and half a worm rigged Carolina style. And we were on the southeast end.

Cool ! Was hoping that there's not alot of weekday action cause of bass opener. I'll definitely look you up. I assume I'll at least see you on the water. Watch out for boat named "nympho"

5 days of bass fishing, up in the Thousand Islands at the end of June, and 5 days of Crossbow/Muzzleloader deer hunting & smallmouth bass fishing up in the NW Adirondacks in mid-October, are the two big ones.    There will also be one or two more long-weekend trips up there during rifle season, and numerous day-trips to Lake Erie for smallmouth bass and Lake Ontario for Salmon and trout.  I can be at either one of those within a half hour so they are not much of a "trip".    We are also going to try and get up to the Adirondacks yet this winter for a little ice fishing before it melts.
