Maybe this information will prove to the people who don't own, or support AR-15 ownership, that the anti-gun loons will not stop with black guns if they succeed with their desire to ban them.  All semis and pumps, long gun and handgun, will be next on the "ban wagon".  This model is what Australia did and the American antis are simply following what worked there.  They are not too clever or imaginative, but they are determined.

Like Ted said, we need 50 Million NRA members to turn this bull shot around.

Nothing more effective than a shotgun firing buck shot in close quarters.

The US Army used Winchester pumps loaded with Buck Shot in WW1, they were nicknamed "Trench Sweepers" for good reason. Devastating firepower caused fearsome casualties enough so for the German government to protest their use.

A nut case that was skilled in operation cutting loose in a crowded school hallway with an extended tube magazine autoloading or pump shotgun would make an AR rifle look puny in relation as far as mowing down numbers of people.

Imagine a reporter for CNN holding up a shotshell and saying, "every time I pull the trigger once with that round it's like thirty people shooting ... thirty bullets come out of there ... thirty rounds come out of there."

So the argument is, "Hey guys, don't ban the AR, there are other guns capable of far more damage."   

Nugent is an idiot and Jones needs a throat lozenge.

I like Ted, seen him countless times in concert and paid to hear him speak at a gun show in Caledonia once.

But I really wish he'd stand down on the boisterous pro-gun stuff. He makes me cringe sometimes. This is one of those times.

Wolf Blitzer or Ted Nugent making the video who cares, I am a fan of neither but there is a point being made for those who think that if AR weapons were eliminated from the face of the earth all will be fine.  

The argument the video is making is that banning AR firearms will not make any difference when it comes to mass school shootings, the nut cases that want to pull off these acts will just use another weapon. The fact of the matter is there are plenty of other weapons just as lethal as ARs and some even more so and far more common and easier to come by.

This school mass shooting business is a social-cultural problem that has come about in recent times. There are way too many people walking the streets that should be locked up and the key thrown away.

Anyone who believes the gun banners don't already know what Ted is saying here is deluding themself.  They know full well what shotguns can do.  But they don't want all of the shotgun owners getting up in arms (no pun intended) about losing their semis and pumps at this point. 

First they ban the semi auto "military" type guns, then they ban ALL semi auto rifles, then they come for ALL semi auto firearms that are left, including handguns, then they come for the pump actions, then they come for the lever actions.  It's all been planned a long time ago.  It's an agenda.

Whoever called Ted an idiot has probably never seen the man in a debate with gun banners.  The man is an expert on the 2nd Amendment, the Constitution and our representative form of government.  He can hold his own with the best the antis can throw at him.  He just likes to use a sledgehammer to make sure the point is driven home with extreme prejudice.  Some don't like that style, some do.  But it sure as hell is effective in getting his word out there.  The antis can't resist airing everything he says, and that's not necessarily a bad thing.

One thing Ted didn't show in that video is how easily you can shoot 30 rounds out of a shotgun, especially a pump gun, by simply shooting till empty, opening the bolt, reaching in your right pocket, grabbing a round and putting it in the empty loading port, slamming the bolt home and pulling the trigger.  Then just keep repeating that sequence until you are out of ammo.  If you don't think that can be very fast, try it sometime.
