Great article!!  Pic's were "almost" as good as yours my friend!

My hunting buddy asked, last night, if I wanted to play hooky from work on Tuesday, to turkey hunt. I thought about it for all of two seconds, before saying "ABSOLUTELY"!!  So we will be out, hoping to score a Tom, or Two!

For one reason or another, this will be my first opening day in a few years!  Excitement is building now!!!

I can hunt opening morning , Wednesday and Thursday. Kiddo can hunt with me Saturday and Sunday.  As much as I don’t want to thump that bird I know of and leave him for her I know you only get a chance or two a season on the same bird   Also fear someone whacks him on nearby properties if I don’t and give him a pass. With some luck we have multiple birds to play with. I still may give him a free pass   I’ve killed my fair share and she hasn’t tipped one over yet. In a quandary

went by leased land today on my lunch and the next field over 4 toms out under power lines.  Not struttin and no hens but they looked like they were searching.  Dunno where to go Tues as I usually have another spot i go turkey hunting mostly.  But I do have the day off and wherever i go - cant wait .  Good luck all.

No time to hunt before work ? 
I'm salary so time doesn't matter as much except I have projects getting buttoned up.

Farm is 20 minutes in other direction, pressed and dressed for work back at the house, and then office is 45 minutes away from home down in Albany. Makes it difficult.
