How high is that ?  I go at 90 %

High enough to KNOW I'll make the shot. Broadside or quartering away,  up's the percentage exponentially.

Been playing the game long enough to know, even with good high percentage shots, things can go wrong with archery gear. I have no problem at all letting deer walk, if I don't get the shot I want.

No one guides my arrows but me.

Obviously, whitetails are wild animals and don't necessarily take the "beaten path" all the time. One reason I try not to put up a stand within 18-20yrds of any known travel routes/paths. My heart & nerves can't take TOO many encounters of BBs walking directly at my stand w/o having a shot. :notme:

I hunt on the ground too.  Depends on the range.  If I'm real close (under 20 yards),  and everything lines up, I'll probably take the shot.  Take out on lung at least.

To me that’s why I don’t shoot . One lung hits are not for me .
