Thanks for all the replies and advice...the vehicle I was looking at is a 2013 Yukon, 61,000K on it, beautiful and fully loaded for 23K.

After seeing all your reviews I may just keep my Pathfinder a while, it's running good, besides probably passed the point of a good trade-in price.

I might just save up the coins a bit and look into a 4 runner or Pilot in a newer model.  The Yukon may be a bit too much vehicle for what I need-just back and forth to work.

My brother used his Suburban like a truck at the farm.  He used it pull trailers, hay wagons, and to haul his tools and small amounts of hay.

Ours is pretty much a family hauler.  My ford does whatever I need a pick up to do but I am not a farmer so you may be right.

anyone i know of loved their Pathfinder in hindsight and never should've sold it. i don't know about their longevity but any vehicle maintained well lasts if it's been good that long.  we always looked for less bells and whistles to run a vehicle up for mileage.

Over the last 8 years between my wife an i we have owned a 2005 Nissan Xterra, 2014 Nissan rogue, 2017 Nissan Murano, and I got a 2017 Nissan Titan last March.
Before I picked up the titan I had an 09 trailblazer that nickel.and dimed me to death once i hit 100,000. Finally was sick and tired of always repairing it so I finally parted was with it around 149,000.
We couldn't be more happier owning anything but a Nissan. Knock on wood all has been good with out last few vehicles.

As I said, I love Chevy, my 2002 2500HD with the big 8.1 liter has treated me well but I only have 50K miles on it. I had it undercoated the day I drove off the show room. It's stored in a heated garage and it doesn't get driven in winter. There's not a person around driving a 2002 Chevy that's rust free except me. There are tons of 02 Honda and Toyota's that are rust free. I just don't think Ford ,Chevy,or dodge can touch any Honda or Toyota for body and mechanical longevity....

My daily driver is a 1999 Honda accord with 135K that is just starting to show rust on the wheel well.. I'll take the wardens 11 pilot and she'll get a new one come spring.
