Hunt #20- 7F lease scrapetree stand.  Light to 10.  Was a nice light S wind, then at 9:30 switched to a stronger W wind which knocks me out of there. Any wind is ok there except a W.   Didn't see a thing.

Hunt #21- 7F lease swamp stand.  8+ hours in a stand today and never saw a deer.  Wind was switching in all different directions until about 4:30.  

Did send one this afternoon though. Shot at a turkey and hit just under him . Aimed for 30 and he was 33-34. 6 turkeys came in up trail so at least some action.

That's awesome.  Hey buddy @FISHDO

He will love that.  He just loves bears. Lol.  And we are hunting there tomorrow.  I would love to see a bear .  

I think I might get up real early and make a couple of casts off the wall before hunting. Afternoon is looking like a wash out .

Was up early so hit the lake for a quick walleye bite .  Personal record 18 minute limit..  Lol.  19,20,21 inch.

Hunt #22.  Lease 7F scrapetree stand.  Light - 10 seen no deer.  Bumped 6 roosted turkeys in way.  Same ones I saw last night. And saw a fisher. But not a deer.

Still lots of does on cam Everytime I'm not at the stand. But 8 point has shown back up at night.  Been a few days.

Hunted there last two days and haven't seen a deer .  Pouring out right now. Thinking best time is starting next weekend.  Will be out tomorrow in a different spot.  But will be back there a bunch more before it ends.  No chasing seen here at all yet. 

Got a three point all over cams am hoping my buddy downs him tomorrow.

Hunt #23. Lease 7F daylight to 10:15.   Not a thing.  Was headed to 6S but so foggy could only go like 25 so stayed close. Buddy Corey was in swamp stand and saw nothing. 

Good news is though. Walleye limit before hunting in 35 minutes. At least that is working out. Perch bite must be insane on the lake. Launch is busier than it's been all summer and boats are stacked in one spot out there.  

I should launch and perch fish but I won't. Will hunt this pm in 6S.  

Pic is 15.5,16.5, 18 inch eyes. Had one short to throw back and one I lost.  All cleaned and bagged by 5am.

Hunt #24- 6S big buck stand.  Didn't see a single thing.  3-Dark.  Pulled cams there and have a 5 point I would shoot. But can't believe didn't see anything wind was perfect just needed a player.

Hunt #25 - lease 7F swamp stand .  3:30- dark.  Saw 6 ducks, 4 turtles and no deer. Until I walk out and busted by deer 50 yards from truck. Big body too dark to tell horns.

Went to lake early this morn. Had my limit of eyes on but only brought one to the net. 

Hunt #26- 7F scraptree stand. Light -11am.  Completely calm wind didn't see a thing. 

Check cam cards in area .  8 pointer on it 2 different nights, tall racked buck I thought was a 6 looks like a 4 just really high rack. Would deff shoot.  Lots of night pics a few day.

Hunt #27- 6S. Only deer I saw were the ones being chased by a dog. 3-dark.  Last bow hunt .  Never drew the bow back all season.  Passed on two small bucks.  Onto xbow.  Hard to believe never had a doe in range.  Next year more walleye fishing in the fall.

best two bucks on cam this year at lease.  No B&C but would take either one.

Hunt #28.  Lease 7F swamp stand. Had a small buck on way in at 30.  Didn't shoot . Didn't like shot straight on and he knew I was there.  Light ,-11.  Buddy Corey stalked up a doe but shot was short.

Hunt #29 - 6S big buck stand. 5 hours on a cornfield and never saw a deer. 12 in the road on the way home.

Hunt #30- I seem to zig and they seem to zag.  7F lease saw nothing . Light -10.  

Pulled cam card there and wed night I had off and hunted 6S and had no luck.  Big buck stepped out at 30 yards from swamp stand at 5:25 pm. 

Buddy Corey is after this big un.

Hunt #31 - 7F lease.  Hunting far side of lease in thick stuff where I passed a spike earlier in season. Tough to sneak in there but I'm there. Lots of sign over there. 3 rubs and 4 scrapes.  Didnt see anything but right before dark could hear one wading thru swamp and then cut across trail and go thru brush across from me.  I waited til dark and snuck out. 1:30- dark.

Had today off changed it cause of rain. Did fish for 1/2 he before work. Hooked two eyes and netted one.  Almost hit Blart on the way to work. Stepped right out in road 1/4 mile before lease.  Sure would like to see him in the stand in the light one time.

My buddy Ed dropped one today. Always does , in his 70s now and still gets it done.
