Passed on a nice 8pt at 15 yards (~16" wide and decent height). I have a few trail cam pics of him, but wasn't sure if I could pass on him or not. Guess I know now.

I am wet and chilled to the bone already! Might have to break out the coffee a little early!

It's usually only minutes if you make a good shot. Then you can see them fall so really no tracking involved

8:15am nothing so far in 3N. Everything soaking wet but sun trying to come out. Feels “deery”.

 

20mph winds coming soon

 

At 620am I heard a bunch of coyotes way off in the distance howling.

This is 3 days in a row. Seen these same 4 bucks 2-3 times each. Got a real nice 9pt on camera last night. Haven’t seen a freaking doe yet.

Kudos to Culver.  He just let Ms Piebald walk at 7yds and full draw.  Would have been a neat first deer with the curve.  But he let her walk with hopes the new hunter I am bringing out may shoot her.  She is becoming a mascot.  
Better man than I! Also landscapers just left c'mon deers!
