ANTLERS
It was frustrating going 3 days with tons of sign all over this mountain,And not seeing anything.I was starting to give up hope,Until we connected late on day 3.The guide says that most guy's who book moose hunts with him are typical middle age couch potatos who think this is like deer hunting back home,You walk 100 yards in then sit in a tree stand. If their not in shape then it limits the better areas that he can take you in,In certain zones of course. The moose in this zone are spread out in mountainous areas. the blur
I spend alot of time in VT, way deep in snowmobiling country, and have only seen 1 moose over a 10 year span. We consider sightings very rare. This is by Stratton and Manchester area. I'd say you had an excellent guide.

BucktheBuck30-06
Good job man..and wow 3 shots from a 308..what grain bullet were you using??
ANTLERS
168 gr nosler.2 shots were enough, the 3rd just finnished her off quicker. When we butchered her up,we looked at the shoulder blade and found the first 2 shots an inch and a half apart. Those balistic tips explode inside of them like dynamite.
