Lawdwaz
Thinking of hitting the RR Hall of Fame. Any suggestions on places to stay, eat etc? I may visit an ailing friend in the area and plan on hitting the Deluth Trading store in Avon Ohio. Anything else I should see hunting related?? Hotel on the water?? Thoughts?? turkeyfeathers
We’re going in a few weeks. Double tree hotel is 8 minute walk to Rock n roll HOF. Make sure you look at the correct Double tree as there’s a few in Cleveland. Christmas story house nearby. Huge market so cooler going with. Winking lizard , Greenhouse tavern , Little Johnny’s all have been suggested to eat. Reminds me , gotta make a PA run for out of state permit as my Utah lost PA recently. Still gets me Ohio though.
Jeremy K
Little johnys bar for a burger is my only suggestion I have , it's almost right across the street from the hall of fame . I believe you can see it from there .
Jeremy K
My wife and I took an uber to that market . Lots of good stuff there from fresh fish to fruits and veggies, tons of dessert food ,beef jerky . Right across the street from that within walking distance is great lake brewery I believe it was. We had lunch there and it was good. Uber is your friend ,everything is relatively in the same area so it doesn't cost much to travel between destinations and not have to worry about getting lost.

G-Man
Dont forget casino is walkable as well, some great parks to walk thru on way to tower city, the civil war park is impressive you may want to see it before it offends someone and they have to remove it.. also have the lake freighter to tour, and lollie the trellis is worth taking for a quick tour of entire city, base ball Is going and you can get cheap seats for a few bucks if you care to take in a game while your there..

But I’ve never liked one beer of theirs , hard to believe I know
helmut in the bush
This is awesome, I didn't even know Southern Tier Brewing was in Cleveland. I usually hang in Down Town Willoughby, on the eastside. clean, safe , nice places to eat, drink, close to home. You could check out Chagrin Falls, your wives will like it, your wallets won't

The couple times my wife and i do a little weekend get away to a city we use uber , it takes so much stress out of the situation for like 5 to 10 bucks which you end up spending to park anyway. I hope you have better luck at that Double Tree than we did . Nice place but it was party central at night. We moved rooms at midnight because of a ongoing fight in the next room , only to deal with the same thing at 4AM on another floor. Didn't get much sleep and made for a long ride home. Nomad
Yes get the Uber app. We use it when we go to,Pittsburgh each year, when the Cards are playing . Super easy and fairly cheap . One time we were staying at the Kimpton Monaco, pretty expensive joint .( https://www.monaco-pittsburgh.com/?&utm_source=Google My Business&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=GMB&utm_term=monaco pittsburgh) We we’re outside waiting for our Uber, when a jacked up, blacked out pick up with gun and hunting stickers all over it pulled up, the Kimptons doormen were confused as to what was going on, when one says “ that’s somebody’s Uber ! “ We happily stepped forward and got in , an oil field worker, who drives Uber on the side , we hit it off quite well....
