Bought a Toy

Bought an Accurite Weather Station . Saw one in a friend's house and thought it would be handy to have . I set it up and have enjoyed it so far . It has temperatures , wind speed , barometer , weather forecaster , moonphase , etc .. It was on sale at Tractor Supply for $45 .

I have an Accurite and it is nice quick check of what it's like outside. Doesn't have windspeed though.

My wife got me the one with all that plus wind direction, rain gauge and what ever else. It was supposed to have the WiFi/App but amazon sent the wrong one. I kept it any way. 

Its quite handy for planning where to hunt out back here. 

You know your getting old when you enjoy a good weather station.

nice me and my brother were just joking at cabelas other day about putting one of the solar ones on our deer blind. My other brother has a fancy one $300+ They are a cool gadget in my opinion.

Same one I have at camp and home. Love it

What mine lacks is a lighted screen but I have it near a light if needed.

Pretty cool! I'm always looking at the weather for one reason or another. My window thermometer STB and blew off a couple wind storms back. This will be a nice replacement.

For $45 think I'll stop by the local TS and pick one up for myself.

Instead of using the bracket for the Wind Speed Anemometer , I mounted it on a length of PVC pipe to get it a little higher . I hope the birds don't try to land on it .
