Then if I did walk that hill with a blind over my shoulder ,I sure as heck wouldn't need a heater as bad as I would need a towel and a change of clothes. Blinds are light. lighter than a climber i would think.

But the first one i put in was for 2016 season, so this will be the 4th hunting season upcoming for it.

I have t say they are the nicest movable blind I have ever sat in. One did go down and snapped a rod with that 14" snow fall we had before last years opener. I even had a pole under the center support hub. If I wanted to put one up and not move it and wanted it to hold up to snow, Moog's Redneck tent blind sure is a nice one. The OX 5 was like $260? but I think the Rednecks are over 400. They do have a nice metal frame though. I know guys that have them that leave the frame up all year and just pop the fabric on and off for the season.
Robhuntandfish
Hate hunting out of a blind. That being said I have one. Haven't used it in 4 years but got a spot for it. On the hunting lease right behind the house there is a spot that I get busted by does walking out in the evening. It's gonna go there for an early first doe and rainy day spot. I generally agree Rob, especially for bow, but last season when it was snowing and cold, or raining, it sure was comfortable.

There are super windy days too where I just won't get in a tree. So that's a great option to have. And during gun with a nice heater and those blinds you have would be a great way to spend the entire day. Where I am getting frozen to a tree and have to go in after 3 hours
turkeyfeathers
Friend just bought a new house with 12 acres on it. Has 2 stands up on his property which we’re going to take down and leave a note. But I am looking forward to checking this out. He just located it other day. It’s either a neat hunting shack / blind or meth lab. I’m posting his property in the next few days so maybe it’s in decent deer travel area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They also make a shorter, cheaper one. https://redneckblinds.com/collections/soft-side-hunting-blinds/products/soft-side-6x6-ghillie-

Marion
My blind 2 blinds ago was crushed by a freaking tree that fell. Smashed right through the seat too. Glad I wasn't sitting in it when it went. I'd have been toast!Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

So I just went with black. Black matches everything! OMG.. I'll never get that image out of my mind. Curse you Moog! Like Biz mentioned, you can hide your profile in the dark interior of a blind by not letting a lot of light into the blind and wearing dark clothing &/or a mask/face paint. Bigger issue is when you have fully opened windows in the rear also, believe the deer see a distinct profile regardless of what clothing you're wearing. Suppose having windows open while hunting and closed when you're not could give deer some reason to be wary of the blind. JMO, elevate blind are a completely different scenario!
