I always liked candeling eggs, fun to see the miracle of life taking place.

Those eggs have to be pretty small..? Maybe the size of a lg marble?

We’ve got 10 chicks going to rejuvenate our existing flock. They’re three weeks old. Pic is from last week, but they’re twice the size now.

The old timers said that makes a good adult when they can do the work to get out. We would once in a while get one that needed some help with the shell. They usually were a little bit smaller or weaker when grown. Some would catch up. Nature's way of selection of the fittest I guess.
