Those are NG. I've been able to buy fiddleheads in my local Hannaford every spring. They don't seem to grow here in Ulster County.

I have never been able to find proper fiddleheads here in Dogpatch, either....But then I have never found morels either, and some of my friends find them..

Yeah I didn’t take any - I am just pissed cause I could buy them but I’d rather find them! Sux that I always find the wrong ferns.

After this week of crap weather the shrooms are gonna POP!!!

If so it may be a little “past prime” certainly doesn’t have the bright color pop that chickens usually have

Possible mica caps...I tried them once. They cook up to a mushroom “slurry” but keep a rich mushroom flavor

Got my 1st oysters of they year today, sauteed them up. And put on a nice chedder/ bacon burger for lunch
