Anyone else get their information stolen from the NYS labor department ?

Got the email today ,they said that some of my personal information was mailed in an envelope to somebody other then myself ,later the news reported that it's social security numbers . These rotten POS can't even admit they were hacked ,they put out some BS that the paper work got stuck together and mailed to the wrong person . Since when does anybody put someones social security number in the mail ?

They are sending Information to those affected to recieve a year of credit monitoring for free .

I got the email. Yeah right. Thanks a friggin lot. When I get hacked in the next 6-12-18 months, who do I call at NYS Labor to help me repair my finances? Unacceptable incompetence on the part of NYS. Again.

I have direct deposit but found out my statements have been going to my neighbor.  I guess my neighbor knows how income status now.

My most recent check was released today ,if it doesnt show up in my account tomorrow i have to assume that the breach of security has messed with bank account routing.
