Congrats on finding the deer! What do you mean it may not be the biggest, that thing is a monster in my book. I think people watch too many hunting shows, lol. Did you ever call deer search? Just wondering if there was any kind of charges for future reference

The coyotes in the woods are terrible. I know of complete deer getting shredded in one night. Shot 7 out of there last winter. There's a bunch left. I sure didnt want the coyotes gettin him. If the blood dried up I wouldn't of gone far, but blood was good.

Awesome buck, Def a shooter ! Glad the recovery was a success ! And with 400 some yards of good blood I too am curious if you hit more than just gut, any idea after you opened him up ?

P.s. I think It's quite a buzz kill to find him after all that, then have to open up a 12hr gut shot....I'd puke in my mouth a little
