July Fourth Rochester style

Keep in mind we’re a small city well under a quarter million , but we try harder ! For reference, NYC would have to have over 300 shootings last night to match our  pre capita .

 8 shot, one stabbed , two dead in a fatal crash , multiple fires, and one police officer attacked .

Friend of mine who is a police officer  in Rochester  put his retirement  papers  in 2 months ago . Says it's not safe anymore  to be a cop. He is African  American. Actually had a  previous customer confront him in a store while off duty. He is always cc. It was unfortunately  in the presence  of his wife and kids .  All he could do was try to get his family out of the picture . When the on duty showed up the guy was gone .

They are currently looking for a house back down here . He doesn't like the idea  of raising his family where he has to worry everytime they go grocery  shopping .

Saw the chaos this morning when clicked on 10nbc website then firewire.like the video on firewire with the fire capt/chief(not sure) talking about how they are extremely busy with calls and fireworks blasting behind him over the houses.ridiculous!!!

It just keeps getting better... Seems Rochester can only make headlines for the wrong reasons.
