I actually had ten deer cross that field in front of me today, at about 140 yards , got my glass on them and one nice buck only had one side . Don’t know if it had shed, fought , or grew that way . It seems three were across the road and got moving because guys we’re snowmobiling over there , they came through the thicket and it seems the seven bedding there got up and came out as well . That thicket has crops on three sides, always corn on at least one side , if not two or three sides giving them more cover and a short trip to the store .
