You would need a dmp for the wmu that has an open eary season.

DMP for the open WMU. This is a early gun antlerless season. Gun hunting rules would apply. That would mean blaze orange or pink would have to be worn.

If using a firearm only then orange/pink is required, thats how i read the regulations.

Generally, you have to follow gun rules during the gun season no matter what weapon you use. I would call the DEC and ask for clarification on the rule before going out.

Need a dmp for area your hunting in antlerless season. Orange needs to be worn if using a gun ( a muzzleloader, crossbow is considered a muzzleloader in nys ,or shotgun )

Not so sure on that Xbow statement. I won’t wear orange with and arrow as my implement of harvest. Listed under muzzy tag but never saw it considered a firearm. Typical Ny grey area.
