NYC document, unbelievable

This is an actual gender question  on a document that was put out by the NYC school system that my daughter had to complete, this is just getting downright ridiculous.  I can't believe the government actually conforms to this stupid mentality.  Maybe I'm old fashioned, but even my kids question this way of thinking.

Would be good to see a grassroots effort of everyone teaching their kids to check "I do not want to say".  That would be a big FU to the government and these politicians providing them with no useful information for their nefarious purposes.

Many government forms from agencies that are not so stupid just ask for "Gender at birth".  That should be all that is used.
