I am a big Law and Order fan. Love the show....the original. At the end of an episode last night the closing line just hit me as the all time perfect line when taking politics. "Democracy is the worst governemt of all, except for all the rest" Government by nature is oppresive. No one will ever convince me that the system designed by the ForeFathers isn't the best concieved to date. That said they also knew that any form of government can be corrupted and how can we say that both parties are not guilty of just that. I wish I could point to a politician and be able to say that they have the people best interest at heart in all their decissions. No one of that description exists. If they did I would vote for them no matter what ticket they were from. So I agree the forefathers were guarding against future oppressors especially those from within.

Apparently it was good enough to keep you from having any type of intelligent response.

We need you to go up there like now......we want to see trailcam pics by tomorrow. When they got done building our cabin "shell", end of Feb and colder than a..it was lucky to see double digits in the afternoon weather. The wife and I made the 3hr 15min drive up to spend a weekend in it... because we just had to be there, no heat,no power,no nothing.We set a tent up,inside the place,cooked on a small Coleman.We insulated the walls,our first project. Damn,I'll never do that again,lol.Ahh hell,yes I would. Man your gonna want to spend every weekend there!

Well, as of yesterday he's at the taxidermist. Now to pick a form.... nice thing was that my fathers bucks antlers fit inside mine, and mine had 3/4" longer nose... all in friendly competition, but I like having the bigger buck

But the oppressor does exist.It's called the government.The amendment was put forth to protect us from our own government,should that goverment become a tyrant.

Virgil, But if you take a person that will break a law to commit a crime what makes you think a new law that limits the mag capacity would change that. I see these rugulations as mainly effecting law abiding folks with little impact on crime.

Sorry, but the comparison to the car holds water just fine. No need to eliminate speed limits, as there are limits on what types of guns you can own (no automatics, etc without proper licenses) already. What doesnt hold water is your "public safety" notion. Please explain why law abiding gun owners are any type of threat to public safety. Restricting capacities of firearms ONLY restricts those that abide by the law, and would have no effect on criminals or those that pose a threat to public safety.

It's coming around again! On New Year's Eve Obama signed the NDAA. It's got some funny double speak Regarding indefinite detaining of U.S. citizens.

I use a Bushnell air gun scope. Its parallax adjustable. Got it so I could keep the target and crosshairs in focus on a 50ft indoor range. Works great for hunting also.

I have a chinsey little Barska scope on my ruger 10/22. 3-9x40mm. Seems a bit big but it works and it was like 18 bucks lol. I figure im not gonna do anything serious with it, so a cheap piece of glass will work
