Took a button buck last night. My mistake thought it was a small does Mom. Texted my brother for the quad and three racked bucks were together coming through the woods. Crazy stuff.

What a rodeo, see a 2 yr old buck at 730, stand to look at him, ratchet breaks, harness saves me, I climb down unhurt, shot a doe at 8

Passed on a spike. He was wide open and broad side but I let him go. I pulled the phone out and took a few pics when he got behind me.

Well after only missing a couple work days since last deer season, I earned the time off for this one. For the next 2 1/2 weeks, with the exception of my usual routine chores around the homestead, I can hang out in the woods at my choosing. Good luck to all of you who will be out in the morning. Day 3 of my mini rutcation checkin. No deer in camp yet one of the guys shot at what he believes to be a nice 8 yesterday it was limping bad as it made it's way to the thick stuff. The three of us looked around for 3 hrs in some nasty stuff sometimes down on hands and knees but not one drop of blood found. Today I caught glimpse of a nice Buck out on a wood line about 250 yards out but just as I was getting him in the scope he went out of view in some thick stuff. I ended up catching a glimpse of him in another thicket about 150 yards out but no shot. That was the last I seen of him then not 10 minutes later l heard a shot in the direction I seen him last so I'm guessing he finally gave someone a shot. Just going in for an afternoon watch then the last hunt is tomorrow morning. Like I said no deer in camp but we still have had a great time. Sent from my moto g power (2022) using Tapatalk

24 shots heard so far here on the nw corner of wmu 9F. One 7 minutes one two minutes before legal. Just heard 25 & 26 real close . No deer seen yet.

I hate to admit it, but as kids we would have, and in some cases did, try equally crazy things despite being told not to. lol. Sometimes I wonder how we made it to adulthood with so few broken bones, bruises, and lacerations.

6 bucks on cell cams before 9 am in one area. crazy!

My neighbor next door has a camp and a lot of people come in from Maryland. Some of them were denied doe permits when buying license. They (2) just got letters in the mail along with doe permits. 8P did not have any left over, how this happens no idea.
