Same old BS over and over.
-
That's because they are part wolf Doc. There was a documentary on it recently. The easterns are in fact part wolf.
-
Yup, that's entirely what it depends on. If you don't shoot a lot, and especially if you don't shoot a bunch of fast shots, it wont be much of a issue. Somebody like myself, who shoots a lot, and shoots high volume prairie dog towns, it would be a problem

Depends what you are shooting, and how far. There is over a 1000 fps difference in velocity. For varmints, the 220 swift blows the hornet away. You will burn a barrel out fairly quickly though.

That one looks real. That other 800 pound one, and other giant hogs over 1000 pounds have been proven to just be domestic pigs shot by hunters(losers) claiming they were wild. There was a show recently discovery channel about it. They can tell immediately by looking at the skull.

Yup, I hear ya. Not familiar with the moose shot off a snowmobile though.

From another forum, can't figure it out.

They don't look that fresh. Look at the eyes, they are sunken in. I don't do the facebook thing. Where were they found? -

Strange. I believe that is on long island. So, not coyote bait. -
I'm curious where too. I have a place in Meredith and my neighbor down the road who coyote hunts with dogs has seen a few. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It might be Belo. At that moment, as you can imagine, I could care less about the legality of it. I still wish I would have killed that one.

Dinsdale, I donated mine to the ranch hands that eat it and need it more than me. My buddy that eats anything, brought his home, and is going to try it. Everyone I spoke to said it is not good. They are NOT pork like some people think, no relation to a pig. They are actually in the rodent family. I did bring hog home with me and that was delicious.

Lol. Got a nice boar javelina that's gonna be a lifesize mount. Passed on a few smaller(100 lb) hogs waiting for a big one. Everyone in our group shot javelina and hogs. South Texas, 85 degrees.
-
I just got back from Texas on a hog and javelina bow hunt. Love Texas. In June heading out to Montana on my annual prairie dog shoot. Then in October off to New Mexico for a elk hunt. Last year did a combo archery elk, rifle mule deer in Wyoming. Very good chance of getting drawn for tags there.

I had one come in turkey hunting a few years ago. He came to about 15 yards and was looking up in the trees for the turkey. Had another one come in during the summer on a full run across a field in broad daylight towards my crying 6 month old daughter and my wife. I just about ripped the door off my truck to get my 22-250. Season or not, if I had a shot I would have killed him.

Who carries every day? What do you carry?

Gave up my permit 17 years ago. Law enforcement. You can get them on long island if you prove you carry large amounts of money regularly. -

Glock 19 in winter and S/W Bodyguard in summer. I had the LCP first as my summer gun but didn't like it. The bodyguard is the same size but much better quality. It also has a integrated laser and much better sights. I used to carry the Glock 26 but that is still too big for summer. -
I have a couple high standards and my father was a collector of them. He says those marked us property were training pistols and are worth more. How much? Depends on the condition and finding the right buyer that wants it.

That makes more sense, and a one tom rule.

I guess if you consider $6K not bad. That's the average price. -
T/C Encore center fire accuracy
pistolp71 replied to genesee_mohican's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
They are pretty accurate. I have 2 frames and barrels 7-08, 35 rem, 22-250, 45 win mag, .256 win mag. The only issue is they are a little sensitive to forend pressure. -
Wish he would have said what he put on it.
