    Only 4 acres, i doubt he is hunting all those deer there.

    Crossbow require similar practice and knowing the yardage and arrow drop. Yes slightly easier than a bow but doesnt make it rifle easy. GoodLuck!!

    A good friend of mines hunts with his sks, kills deer with no problem with black box ammo.

    After my injury last yr, and I am still in PT and can not pull back a 50lb. So I feel your pain. Rehab is taking way longer than I would like and its very depressing and frustrating. I loved taking a deer with a bow, miss it so much. My solution: I am using the Infinite Edge at 38lb and 500gn arrow with QAD exodus and keep a decent group at 20yrs. Will be out every chance I get but will allow me to enjoy one more season.

    I have tried to use the pressure and what i gathered is that the rise of pressure with a cold front approaching is the key. Always saw more deer. Now is it just the cold front ?? any body's guess

    wunderground But terrain always changes the wind directions, so have to be out there many seasons to learn it.

    Anytime if a second bow shot is possible is safer. All other options is too close for comfort where one can get kicked or gored by antlers.

    Agreed, weekly picks gets tough to coordinate and or remember who is hunting when.

    I like to keep things simple like the 2:1 ratio but a dbl on the same day is extra points Buck = 2pts Doe = 1pt Same day Dbl of buck and doe is 5 pts 2 doe is 4 points Thoughts?

    Something is not right, how much are they charging $$ you per therm and KW ? Do you monitor the units you use every month ?
