I am but I do appreciate your input .

Why carbon monoxide? I feel safe with the whole house being covered in hard wired smoke/carbon monoxide detectors Not trying to cause any problems but I don’t see what the big deal is again not saying this is the right best way but running extension cords all over seems more of a hazard to me.
-
No attached garage exhaust pointed out the garage door, my detached garage has a separate main breaker and panel off the meter. Not saying any of this is the best way to do it but I believe it is safer than running extension cords all over the house. But back feeding 220 into dryer outlet is the same as back feeding 220 into 220 outlet on back side of house, besides outlet on back side is wired in for idiot proof lockout.
-
That’s why I said after shutting of main , it’s the same thing with out the idiot proof lockout back feeding 220 into sub box, but I can keep the generator and myself dry in the garage with the door open.

If you get a chance to try yuengling Black and Tan it is pretty good and my cold weather go to.

Congratulation

If you have a electric dryer just back feed the circuit after shutting off the main breaker. I have a outside plug with the lock out but back feeding works better as I can run the generator in the garage. Which is what I did today. I just bought a take out propane/ng stand by unit I have to get figured out and installed. That’s if it’s good but a clean looking generac 15 k unit for $250 was worth the gamble.

With the high winds last night and trees down everywhere grabbed a beer and went out and checked the fence line. And it’s in good shape might have a couple more to celebrate.

Gun Control Bill Headed To The Senate

With Colorado being a state with universal back ground checks, red flag laws, magazine capacity limit of 15 rounds this tragedy doesn’t fit the narratives they have already been pushing . So I would not be surprised if the Democrats try harder to push gun bans instead of dealing with the true issue which is mental health causing these mass shootings. -

Was your point not that the fence, razor wire and armed troops at the capital are there to keep people with guns out. The same as a secured southern border with arm guards and fences would keep out armed people, some with guns and some with highly lethal drugs which is the cartels trade. If you would like some easy to find stories just type in border control agent killed at southern border. You will easily find more stories of border patrol agents shot at southern border (not very many) but still more than you will find of police shot at the Jan. 6th “armed” insurrection which was none. -

Didn’t figure New York would let this fly. We didn’t even bother with pistols when we lived in New York as we heard it was quite a hassle to put it lightly. -

Ok so my family owns a gun shop with that I know exactly how this works. You fill out the 4473 gun data is added to 4473 the FFL processes the nics check and at that time only gun information filed is if it is a long gun, pistol or receiver. The 4473 hard copy is than filed at the FFL and remains filed there. If the FFL was to close than the 4473’s would be sent to a processing center in West Virginia where the paper 4473’s are converted to micro film is what they are told. At this time would be the opportunity to make a registry as it is the first time the ATF has the gun data. Note there is a secret form filled out if you buy 2 pistols within 5 days at the same FFL that is sent to local police and ATF with gun data. Not sure about NY but in Ohio a FFL can take a ccw permit and a filled out 4473 and not send it in for a nics check this is federally legal but not allowed by all states. -

From what I know from a family members owned small gun store the suppliers are charging about 30% more when they can get you anything. They are putting a small amount of ammo on the shelves when they can at the same margins as always. They have stated holding some back to offer with a gun purchase as for a month of they where trying to selling 500 dollar bricks as that is what a gun is with no ammo and the guns were not moving. If you go to mom and pop shops ask them if they have anything because a lot of them are not putting much on the shelves as it gets bought up to quick and they can’t get inventory back in from suppliers. The crazy thing is with all the hoarding the ammo cans are now in short supply
