    Lol. Well real hunters don’t let God or anything else send a bullet up a deer ass regardless of the situation and as we saw in the pic of the so called “Big” one you speak of we saw that bullet placement was one that needed a bigger piece of lead to damage other organs other then heart and lungs which most hunters take out. Maybe a little more work on your end…. And a little less talk like you have done it all with weapons and maybe even kill a real “Big” deer would serve you well.

    More forgiving perhaps. But I don’t shoot a. Wby300 Mag so I can find them if I hit them in the hoof. Point is that the guy once again giving the so called advice has once again to be proven to be talking out his ass without any true experience and even dissing those that have experience and the numbers to go with. But Typical.

    He has never made himself out very knowledgeable about killing big deer but has a comment with advice on every post about the subject. I think because it’s a hunting site some think they can post on subjects whether they have experience or not.

    I saw this and took a quick pic on the fly. Looks as though the hunt is going thru in all zones it was originally made for. Without the option of an opt out.

    Your local deer farm that collects urine will always Trump any store bought bulk scent. Companies like Tinks..and better yet the Code Blue crap of from one deer to one bottle stuff… comes from tractor trailers full of 55 gallon drums of deer urine bought straight from a farm.

    Spot On!! Hunt Letchworth Park a few years and you will see the best in the business make their living. Up top on fields bedding and feeding by night and to the Bowles of hell to spend their day. And they do this in the full hunting zone, Archery only zone and on the no hunting zone. It’s bred in the animal.

    Like this late season..Or Early is even needed. Those that complain they have no deer will still not have any deer and those with deer should have their tags filled. If not they should find another hobby. Ny has always been famous for having the most F’ed up season laws from the amount of time givin to Xbow laws.

    Yup. Happens every year. Roughly 28 days after their first time thru for any adults not bred the first time and some bigger fawns will come in. Just watch cameras and watch some of your scrapes come alive again.

    Depending on caliber used I would never balk at a straight on shot. My 300Wby Mag in 165gr makes a small hole going in and destroy’s internally. Have had 2 with this gun and neither had an outgoing hole. But yes seeing bucks after the opening week rush relieves some of the after thought of not taking a shot. You may just see him again.

    Northern zone target buck finally makes his mistake. Can’t wait to seal the deal on the Tier target buck come late season.

    Lol. With the slap on the hand Ny gives someone for shooting a deer with a light..out of a truck.. not in season an Xbow ticket would be laughable.

    Camp of 8 and only 1 carries a legit Xbow. People are really to the point of telling the white shirts that make the stupid state and Govt laws to FO. I’m afraid that’s going to be more of the norm as this world turns.

    Always go for thick in my book. I believe in some of these places like Letchworth it’s bred into them that they head to thick on a daily basis. Now with the rut involved that throws another card on the pile when it comes to mature bucks. I myself will always pick thick.

    Yeah because we all know that guy that made the statement knows a lot about high fence or even deer bigger then maybe 100 inches.

    Glad to see one of my target bucks still in the area after finally getting after them and a new player came on the scene. The bad is it looks like a few of my favorite places are a little wet at the moment.

    Way to many Doe’s out in the corn while we were out with the combine this afternoon. One less now.

    Exactly CWD is just something agency use to push their agenda and white coats use to get more Government funding. More deer died in Ny state alone this year from EHD then CWD ever thought of. CWD is rarely ever found until after a healthy deer is harvested.
