Here is the article -------- Dick’s sells Field & Stream in Henrietta From Staff Reports Rochester Democrat and Chronicle USA TODAY NETWORK Pittsburgh-based Dick’s Sporting Goods announced plans earlier this week to sell eight Field & Stream stores to Utah-based Sportsman’s Warehouse Holdings Inc. The eight Field & Stream stores includes the Henrietta location at The Marketplace Mall, according to paperwork filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The sale is expected to close Oct. 11. Sportsman’s Warehouse said in a press release that it was purchasing the stores for $28 million. The other locations, according to SEC documents, are Washington, Altoona, and Camp Hill, Pennsylvania; Horseheads; Greensboro and Asheville, North Carolina; and Troy, Michigan. “This acquisition is consistent with Sportsman’s strategy to return to a more typical store growth pattern, following a period of investment in omnichannel capabilities, technology, and debt reduction over the last two years,” Sportsman’s Warehouse said in a release. Sportman’s Warehouse, which bills itself as the largest outdoor specialty store in the western United States and Alaska, is based in Midvale, Utah, and already has 95 locations. That business began in 1986 in Utah. Sportman’s Warehouse CEO Jon Barker said this was “an opportunistic expansion.” “Each of these stores operate in strong markets, with well-established customer bases,” Barker said in a release. “We look forward to serving these communities with our continued strong commitment to provide outstanding gear and exceptional service to inspire outdoor memories.” Dick’s began in 1948 in Binghamton and currently has 727 locations across the country. The business also owns Golf Galaxy. The Henrietta Field & Stream location opened in 2014

A mature doe if it presents itself first . A buck would be great but does are good eating !

I'm retired and have plenty of days to hunt . I have always been obsessed with hunting opening day . I am having 2nd thought this year . I don't feature Bow Hunting in 85 degree weather and rain showers .Two years ago I made a bad shot on a buck during some rain and won't do that again . I will make a final decision Monday morning .

How does "monopoly" help in a stand ?

I use a sled with my ATV . Depending on where I am hunting , I may leave the ATV and bring the deer home in the trailer . I have loaded the ATV in the trailer and then struggled to put the deer on the trailer floor behind the ATV which is a difficult task for me .

Cut the old straps off my back yard tree stand , re-arranged it and put new ratchet straps on . Got in the stand tonight to shoot a few arrows . As I was drawing back on my 6th shot my release slipped , the arrow blooped into the garden somewhere and I smacked myself hard to the bridge of my nose . Cut it open and it bled like heck . Got the bleeding to stop and shot a few more arrows . I must have hit the release prematurely but I usually have my index finger behind the trigger . The nose is a bit tender now . That arrow didn't go far and is in the garden or berry bushes somewhere . That's the hardest I have been hit in the nose since the Marine Corps .

By the way , I checked the Tee Shirt label . They are made in Nicaragua ........

This happened this afternoon at the Dunkin' Donuts on RT 104 in Ontario . They rerouted the West bound traffic onto Ridge Road .

OOPS ! I dropped my donut and hit the lever ..... Dunkin' Donuts this afternoon . Power was out for a while . Glad I have the Whole House Generator !
