I used to sit on buckets when I hunted from the ground but I need a backrest . If the tree trunk is straight that the stand is in , that helps . But , like I said in another thread that if the tree trunk is frozen , your back will get cold real quick .

I posted a video of my winch a few years ago . It was on photobucket and in the DIY forum . Bought a 2500# winch at Harbor Freight for $50 and a couple pulleys . Used a 12 volt mower battery . See if this works for a video . Fast Eddie's Elec Deer Winch.wmv

Heck , I mentioned having pics of a coyote on a trail cam and said that I should probably start carrying when checking my cams . A couple of non mentionables on the site accused me of wanting to shoot coyotes out of season . So , be careful what you say .

I have an inexpensive Simmons 4X12 scope on my NEF 25-06 . Never had a problem with it .

WalMart's return policy is awesome . I was able to return my mother in law and I didn't even have a cash register receipt . They will take back anything .

First-light ..... crfingnutz stated in a post earlier that the land is posted . Apparently the neighbor doesn't care .

Take a ladder out where the trail cam is and set your trail cam facing down at the intruder's camera to see who checks it out . Make sure your TC is inconspicuous so that it isn't spotted and stolen . You would want to use a Black Flash camera .
