  1. My thoughts exactly. I told him this but he doesn't seem to care or have the motivation to do it himself. Understood. I guess the question I have now is if he transfers ownership of the bike to me via the transferable reg, can I just skip the step of him applying for a title and apply for one myself?
  2. Just finalized the schedule for a trip down to my buddy's place in 3M for the 17th and 18th. So heck yeah, I'm in! It's also early bear in that wmu so I'll be double dippin'. Pics are from said friend. And for the record I wouldn't shoot the piebald fawn. I'd shoot his momma though . . .
  3. I've got a line on another motorcycle I'm interested in purchasing. The issue for me is the seller states he doesn't have a NYS title for the bike, only a NYS "transferable" registration. He's still looking for it but I'm pretty sure it will end up being an expired NYS reg. I've never purchased a vehicle in NYS off a transferable reg. Always did it with a title transfer. If the docs he finally shows me seem legit, can I still get a title and regular reg for it in NYS? The model year of the bike is 1982 if it matters. Thanks

    Beer

CNY Irish Festival, tonight, Deansboro, NY. First down pour of the night. Stuck in the beer tent. Life is hard.
  5. For @Dinsdale and @grampy Pan seared brown trout w lemon n garlic, homemade potato salad and a cheap Pillsbury roll. Good times men. Be well.
  6. Holding it down for SRV. Double Trouble: Chris Layton. Tommy Shannon. Reese Wyans
  7. "A pie without cheese is like a kiss without the squeeze" Every family get together, EVERY piece of berry/apple/rhubarb pie that was served ALWAYS had a thick slice of sharp cheddar on the side of the plate. An absolute requirement. It's an unwritten culinary rule (at least it should be). Cleanses the palate dairy farmer style.
  8. A win for New Yorkers and the 2A. There are some though that still live in a different reality. And they walk among us. Warning. The link is nauseating. https://www.cnn.com/2022/06/23/us/reaction-new-york-gun-law-supreme-court/index.html
  9. Nice little setup and a steal for the asking price. I had one of those at one time. Glwts.
  10. Idk. I think its pretty cool. The average person today wouldn't even know what it is.
  11. Oh @Chef! "Flirtin' with disaster..." lol
  12. Our condolences on the passing of your brother. Peace comes from within. I'm sure it will find you soon. Be well.
  13. Senior ball last night for my youngest. He's heading to U of Albany in the fall for accounting. Congratulations to all the folks here with young adults moving on. No harder job in the world than being a good parent. Yet nothing makes you more proud than to see them happy and successful.
  14. My son has to get a booster for college. We're going Friday morning and I'll get one too for sh-n-g. If what you say is true I should have 3 chips then. Kind of feeling honored that Bill Gates cares enough to follow me around and keep tabs on me. I mean if they're really that interested in tracking my daily shitshow I'd find that humorous.
  15. My younger brother swallowed a quarter when he was like 7 years old. The pediatrician told mom to check his stuff everytime to make sure it passed through. If I end up taking a pill with a chip in it I ll be sure to do the same so I can send it back to them. Just hope they wash it before they hand it out again.
  16. Agreed. Plain language. To the point. Willfully ignorant need not apply. Non political.
  17. "What kind of day do you want? Green Day . . . "
  18. The kid was 18. His parents failed him. Period. For whatever reason. Then every other parental figure that he came across until yesterday failed him too. Not one adult that he ever interacted with gave a shit to really get to know him to perhaps prevent this from happening. Sad.
