How Many 5.5 Year Old Bucks Have You Killed? (and older)
NYBowhunter replied to Lawdwaz's topic in Deer Hunting
1 for me, my bow buck from last season. By looking at its rack you would guess 3 1/2. But i had some history with that buck, i collected his sheds 2 years earlier and at that time i had him estimated to be 3 1/2. I didnt see him at 4 1/2, but i caught up to him at 5 1/2. At 5 1/2 compared to his sheds there wasnt much difference horns wise, just little thicker horns and few inches wider, tine length was comparable to his sheds. The reason that i believe he didnt grow much rack wise is because he had a deformed/ injured front hoof. Point is without a tooth analysis i would have but this buck at 3 1/2 had i not had a history with him. -
Go to B&H on 34th street and 9th ave. They will have everything you need for that camera and then some..lol. They even sell trail cameras, scopes, binos, etc..and are very competitively priced.

Check out Dicks in Oneonta, they have a nice selection and price range. I myself picked up a 10 point titan extreme a couple years ago and love it, but that was a little pricey. The dicks in oneonta also has a 10 yard range where you can test them out.

At most that last buck is a 2 1/2yr. Old.

Its really amazing how bowhunting is now upon us and soon crossbow and there are people out there that dont know the season regs. Just boggles my mind.

Maybe hunting is not for her. If someone is really into hunting a dry spell will not make them quit this wonderful sport we call hunting. Geez i know many of people that have had dry spells for years and kept at it. The hunt must be in her to be able to get thru these times, not something that could be taught or forced upon someone.

Any moisture caught under the tarp would do more harm to the AtV then to protect it. Drier the storage area the better.

Good luck.

Nice early season buck, congrats!!!

Does your cell phone carrier need to be at&t in order for this to work?

Is it really worth the effort for 20 or 30 bucks to have someone come to your home or to meet up? Place that puppy by the curb, someone will find good use...just saying.

How Many Acres Do Think Is Enough To Hunt On?
NYBowhunter replied to DirtTime's topic in General Hunting
Unfortunately that seems to be the norm with alot of families, sad but true. Money is the greed to all evil. -

Hey predate, is it just the picture but that bucks body size looks oddly small. Seems to be a real nice 1 1/2 yr old with a nice rack, but that body just something odd about it? Maybe im just use to large farm bodied deer. That buck is like a 6 month old buck body wise in my area. Not poking fun, just something that really stood out when i saw the picture. Nevertheless, nice combo!!!!

Slick tricks, man are they razor sharp right out the box. And they get the job done. Gonna even use them with my verticle bow this year.

Those G 2's are insane!!!! Good luck getting him.

my parents jared 40 glass containers of sauce last weekend and still had a couple bushels left over to give away and to use for salads etc...they used the large propane turkey deep fryer to cook their tomatoes, much less clean up when you can do eveything outdoors, no mess in the kitchen. .lol
