Step out of your bubble for a minute and look at how the rest of the state operates. How do you see the system working in other areas. Being in a bonus area (like 8C is as well) you are really the exception rather than the rule.
-
so if you had your regular season tag and an antler only tag from your bow license purchase. If you want to take an antlerless then you apply with everyone else.

actually we aren't in DL Savings time now. We just were.

I called in a bait station that is visible from the road 3 times and NOTHING. If they won't enforce that one I can't see them doing anything about this with NO proof.

I’ve said it in here before. What I think should happen is all antlerless is by lottery. Everyone applies. No antlerless or either sex with the bow and muzzleloader licenses. If the folks can’t stomach a one buck rule then sell the extra buck tag with our first special privilege purchase. Regular season buck tag and all antlerless by lottery. If a guy only hunts gun and is in an area like NZ or low probability area he has as good a chance as anyone at a tag draw

Federal power-shok sabot

I loved the Federal Premiums when they had the copper barnes expander bullets in them. I am glad I bought 20 boxes the year I did. They don't make them any more but they hit like a sledge hammer. I've used the Power shok at the range and they shoot as well, just not sure how they hit. -

Write up a quick lease for $1 including hunting rights and the ability to post it. Have the current owner sign it. Legally post the property and have his ass arrested. You aren't going to win this cordially with a douchebag like this. -

4 pointer on Saturday and BB on Sunday. Couple very slow hunts. Unfortunately you can't zoom when you flip the view on the camera. Crappy resolution.

If the majority of 1.5's made it another year, they are a much different animal to hunt even at 2.5. Except for the chasing and breeding time when they all get stupid ...lol. I agree they aren't mature at 2.5 but if they made it there that extra year of experience would help them make it longer.

I have stainless thin angle, screwed them down and put a thin bed of sand on the floor. Laid in solid 4" think concrete blocks and dusted some sand over them like a paver to have it locked in a fireproof -

Gotta know you audience. The governing towns vary so much it isn't even funny. Simple things like wording of a "hunting cabin" vs a "Camp" can vary their "interest" a lot. -

Honda 2000 generator runs our fridge and lights and a few outlets. Pure sine power for electronics and it runs about 12-14 hours on of gallon of gas. hook in a 6 gallon marine boat tank and you can run 3.5 - 4 days on that gas. I don't run the generator during deer season for the most part becasue cod enough temps for coolers even though that genny is really quiet. I would say look for an OLD propane stove that uses a pilot and not electronic ignition. Instantaneous hot water heaters are available to provide a shower and sink. Propane and 12 volt lights with 2 deep cell batteries and a solar panel (also runs on demand water pump) We built ours on concrete piers with metal siding and roof because we wanted it critter proof. I think we are 10 years in on this and never had a mouse in camp. -

We got pretty creative with the bathroom facilities, water, shower and electric. Wasn't crazy money and would be glad to discuss with you. We just bring in potable water and the rest of the water is off the site for all other uses. No well. A lot will depend on the property you buy and how it is laid out.
