The laundry and wash tub makes sense. Grey water. Floor drains with the possibility of chemicals, like boiler condensate drains and suck are directed to the sewer becasue of treatment requirements. I totally agree, Old homes are a complete wild card.

I can't think of one justification to ever connect to a septic system. Most seem to go out the wall above slab and aren't deep enough to connect a floor drain to them without assistance from a pump. I didn't read the OP post any pumps and didn't ask if he noticed the through wall pipe for the house main line.

Well Cruz has already started the ball rolling on the term limits so we'll have to see if it picks up steam or stops. -
Presidential Sabotage?

I guess that doesn't say much for Hillary then, at least Trump put together a team that understood how the system actually works and was able to deliver. That is kind of like bitching becasue your Team lost by 40 points in the Super Bowl when you had the most fans show up for the game. -
if you are on a septic system they should have never been hooked up to that. I would make it a condition that they are inspected and find out where they drain. They you can evaluate any potential issue that could come up down the road. soil conditions may play a big role in where they go. The hose I grew up in was 100% gravel as far as you wanted to dig. It had two drains that just went through the floor and into that gravel. Never a water issue and you couldn't dump water down it fast enough to back it up. lots of factors to consider but an inspector worth his salt will get into it. I would also make sure the sale is contingent on a septic inspection and being pumped out.

This does point to another aspect of our system that I hope the new administration takes on. We are in desperate need of Tort Reform that limits frivolous law suits, make the plaintiffs liable for the defendants legal costs (when deemed frivolous) and take a realistic look at awards. This has to carry into the medical field too -

And again. They backed hillary. If they have the power you voice and are so able to sway popular opinion, why isn't Hillary being sworn in on the 20th? -

As about as effective as it was gettign Hillary elected, I would guess. -
Can I ask a question. Can you use your climber on this tree to go up and down?
-
I have done it before but it isn't fun. I tied two ropes from the top stand area, up by the seat to trees that were behind the stand and I could reach from the ground. Go up attach ropes to stand. Come down and tie off to trees behind stand Go back up and remove ratchet straps. come down and remove cross brace strap. Use the two ropes to lower the stand to ground. Reverse steps to raise in new location. But at this point whats the rush to move it? Why not wait for help?

apples and oranges. That was a county thing and nothing to do with the Safe act re-certification process.
-
I agree but if it is "co-owned" under their legal definition now and on two or more permits, I would check the box.
-
5 years from your re-certification date. You can check their website for your status if you re-certified.
-
I am sure you are on top of this tip but figured it would be good to add. I cut up strips of old used dryer sheets and toss in when tumbling in corn cog or walnut. they pick up all the dust generated and can easily be pulled out to discard. I have to look into the SS media as well.

Think of it this way. The only place the listing of all the pistol holder and all their pistols resides is in the county locations. Most all of them are paper records. Basically the State has found a way to make us their unpaid clerical that will be making the STATE database of all pistol permit holders and a listing of their pistols. One thing I want all you guys that are doing this a year early to remember. The clock for you next 5 year period starts at your re-certification date NOT 5 years from January 31 2018.
-
It has absolutely NOTHING to do with that. This is a Safe Act requirement and NOT something the counties are doing Both of the things you listed ARE fees for record updates that are handled and implemented by the counties
-
List everything that shows up in your permit.
-
Personally I think that is what they are hoping for

But that wasn't what the thread was about.

The reality is, even without being able to terminate someone for a specific activity there are hundreds of reasons they can use. -
