This courts ruling will be overturned just based on the fact that the stay was issued with no reference to law or violation of law. Just based on what the judge "felt" was right. The law actually reads. (AND IT IS A LAW NOT A FEELING) "(f) Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or non immigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate." -
Some of the nicest trout in the state but one of the most stingy lakes I have ever fished.

lying libs strike again
Culvercreek hunt club replied to rachunter's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
O I firmly believe in the Constitution. My point was that Trump, as of yet, everything he has done he said he would do. I can't see where he violated a law or the Constitution at this point. And he was put in power to turn back any advances that the Democrats had made or wish to make. What has he done that is unconstitutional? -

Anti-democrat actions. That is what he was elected for and I wish him all the luck I can. -
Honestly most of all the other Semi's are not nearly as modular as the AR platform. Being able to switch calibers, barrel contours and other features is a huge benefit in a platform. Having the ability to put on an adjustable stock is a wonderful feature that I can't even do with my currently owned semi's becasue of this law. My Daughter is much smaller than I am and while she still shoots mine, it would be much more enjoyable for her if the pull was sized to fit her. You really should look at the details of what that gun is before you try baiting.

Have you stopped out an bought an AR lately? How about some of the larger pistols like the Dessert Eagles.

New Rifle - 25/06 Rem vs 257 wby
Culvercreek hunt club replied to DanD's topic in Rifle and Gun Hunting
I don't see the haters but do see some valid points. At the hunting distances that the average Joe here in NY are going to face the only thing the 257 will do better than the 25--06 is burn more Powder. I don't own either but the 25-06 is on my buy list for a Encore barrel. Since the OP doesn't reload I also believe he will find a more options in bullet loads for the -06 that the B. Money on the per round cost doesn't appear to be a factor for him but bullet options may be if he is using it on a wide array of game. -

On March 25th we will be holding our 5th annual Banquet at the Diplomat Party House in Rochester, NY. We expect it to sell out again. The first Early Bird Deadline is March 3rd. Little birdie told me that there will be at least 19 guns finding a new home that night, along with so many other great prizes. I know I may be a little biased but this is the areas best banquet. Check it out. Each entry ticket gets you in the door, dinner and a 1 year membership. This is our only fundraiser every year for the branch. Rochester 2017 Banquet ticket Mailer Final.pdf

Converting shotgun from deer to turkey
Culvercreek hunt club replied to DIYhunter's topic in Turkey Hunting
I like an extended extra full turkey choke. I shoot 3" #5's out of it. I use to love the special turkey loads that were 4x6's. http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/product_info.php/pName/10rds-12-gauge-federal-mag-shok-3-2oz-5-turkey-load http://www.basspro.com/Hunters-Specialties-H-S-Strut-UnderTaker-Turkey-Choke-Tubes/product/22025/ -

Do you guys freeze this to preserve it once it is done? -
I am a big fan of Irish Whiskey. Jameson's top of the line' Midleton is probably the best I have ever had (I do like the Jameson reserve as well). I like a Irish single pot type whiskeys. Dollar for dollar Red Breast is my favorite. . Stick with the 12 year old. The 15 isn't worth the extra $$.

I'm getting a new cross gun!
Culvercreek hunt club replied to dbHunterNY's topic in CrossBow Hunting
Yeah, Until I can't draw a vertical I would only buy one if it added to my season. They are fun to shoot but I don't like the noise when they fire. I am sure there are quieter ones on the market but any I have been around are to loud for my liking. -

Culvercreek hunt club replied to Birddogg's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Was probably me. Lol. His views are polar opposite to mine. Voted against him both times. Supported anyone that said they would oppose his policies. I'm ok with that. Ok with others doing it now. I wasn't happy for 8 years and luckily after two years Obama lost congress. Trump could as well if he doesn't make the right moves over the next two years. Time will tell -

Let's see how the protests pan out tomorrow and see if you can make the same statement on Saturday. How many Republican Congress members boycotted Obama's inauguration in 2009? -
