My wife has shown me everything we got for the kids 3 times. Like I forgot the first time. Last night we were wrapping and she was taking some of the stuff out of the box to look at it, again. I have also heard the MIL and wife have the conversation about who got what almost nightly. Best part so far is MIL is a snooper too... Found the TV we all split for her and FIL. So, my bro in law lied and said it was for his MIL... So my MIL ended up bitching to my wife about how mad she was that everything she does for her son and he gets his MIL a big flat screen. Sat in the car, drove to spot, sat on log, got up, sat on rock, moved and sat in blind, slow walk then sat on a stump and ate lunch, got up and walked around, found another nice log and sat, got bored and sat in car, got out and sat on trunk, walked back in woods and sat Indian style, got cramped and sat in an old wooden stand, saw a deer and stalked it, bumped it then decided to sit in a pile of leaves, found a tick sitting on your arm and got nervous, moved back to blind and sat for a couple hours, on walk out got tired and sat back on the big rock for a bit... I for one have no reason to knock anyone for there harvests or style of hunting. My issue with wolc is his contradictions and the fact he is obviously trying to push buttons ( see what I did there ??) Unfortunately it's working on some. The guy can kill whatever he wants, they are his tags. Even more contradictory is if your a straight meat hunter yet you want to be involved in a public forum. So you want some comrodery ??? Yet you want to agitate those your trying to enjoy the sport with ? Idk. As far as knocking skills, who am I to judge. I've had more years than not where I didn't get the buck I was after ! My intention was to ask a question as to why you wouldn't want to target deer with more meat on the hoof, when your hunting for meat. I use my buck tag for racks, and I want to get a mature buck, I don't settle for young deer cause that's my style.... Why do you say you want more meat but pride yourself on BB's? Why is it that you say your a meat hunter but pride yourself on killing yearlings... ? It's like, hey I want meat so I'll shoot the deer with the least amount of meat. "Targeting deer in order of body size" I don't get it. I know your not after racks and the score that matters to you is the chest girth, so why don't you put in a little effort and maybe some patience and target deer with larger chest girth ?? As in, something OTHER than a yearling ? And please spare me the crap talk about how younger deer taste better. Another after deer season favorite past time. I'll be starting after them within a week or so. Always open to bring the call and decoys to new locations. Never tried it ? I actually have 2 yote notches on the smoke pole. One was full run at about 30yrds and the other was a hail Mary through the hardwoods. I'm never scared to let one fly at a dog. Nice job on yours ! Def punched a hole in em, he won't hold water anymore. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Read that earlier on another site. Come on man, jack lighted over bait piles.... What upsets me the most is the fact there could be a "hunter" on the next property over who was chasing one of those bucks all year, put in plots, had cam's, only hunted on the right wind, took time off of work etc etc etc and these Dbags kill em. Either way, it's so unfair to the rest of us when guys do this crap. Glad they got busted and I'm glad that idiot ratted out his pals. Heck of a year for me. I made a commitment to my wife that this year I wouldn't hunt as much as years past. I know I ware her thin with the kids when I'm gone alot so I kept my end of the deal. Ended up scoring 2 more for the wall and having alot of cool encounters while out in the woods. Took my son out a few times during bow for his first hunting experiences, which was a dream come true. Got some real studs and up and comers on the cam's that could make future years wall hangers. Dad didn't score a buck this year,which is a bit discouraging but he still says he's thankful for his harvests either way. But in reality the sum of my 17 is that i had alot of opportunity to realize how blessed I am to have the things in my life that I do, family, property's and memory's made. I may be a mature buck hunter, but the end of the day it's not about the inches of the racks that make my seasons great. Here's to 18' !! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
