  1. Isn't always the case when you look through the garbage for something, egg shells and coffee grinds. That could be a title to a country song. "Egg shells and coffee grinds the only thing that was left I lost my auger and she walked out on me."
  2. I wouldn't even guess, hope you get'em.
  3. Nice map selection Steve, very funny. I may not be up there but my neighbor next door patrols like a hawk, in fact 20 years in the Army served him well. He catches you and makes you stand for a picture holding you tag under your chin, no chit man. Enjoy yourselves!
  4. Nice picts, is that the world famous crabapple tree? Good luck this weekend!
  5. I've done it, looks to be some good hunting weather coming up! Good Luck.
  6. Ah your awake from your nap, nice buck Eddie. Way to get it done!
  7. Only one green hat left, WTF they move that fast???? John you going to be a millionaire!
  8. What do ya think guys-the green or blue hat? The green will match my eyes. lol
  9. You awake yet???? Nice job Eddie!!!!!!!!
  10. Just had lunch with Paulie over at O'Briens on w 46th st. Good food and stories! We're going to do it again mid gun season to show off our pictures, actually he showed a nice one off today!
  11. 8P here them every night but never see them.
  12. Sorry Robinson but if you have to do that to shoot I don't think it's very safe there. Just looking out for you. Now move your stand! Oh yea-Happy Birthday!
  13. When I hunted with my Brother in law and Father in law in Burdett we always had to take my Father in law down to Savards or the Grill in Watkins Glen. Now that I have the cabin we just eat there, occasionally eating at the cafe in Howard, real nice owners!
  14. So I have had my share of encounters with big bucks. This weekend was no different. I missed a nice one but this year I feel different for some reason. I'm not beating myself up or wishing I waited for a different shot. I missed, simple as that. Deer ducked the arrow I shot a bit high-story over. Now this deer was missing half its rack but was a real mature big boy that I still would of hung on my wall. I had a great weekend with my brother, we both saw deer and it was just wonderful to be at the cabin. I will be back up in two weeks to give it another try with my brother and the kid I mentored the last couple of years. I'll put him in my stand for the weekend and maybe, just maybe this story will have a bit of a twist..............
  15. Same here. Saw my brother use it-then I tried, wow my hands stayed warm.
  16. 3.5 seems right, I guess the 8 goes 120-125.
  17. Sat and Sunday I had two bucks make scrapes right in front of me. They did the whole deal, licking branch and urinating in the scrape. It was cool to watch. These were 1.5 and 2.5 year old deer.
  18. A good start Zem! Looks like mid to late week will be great, maybe some snow! Shoot a big one.
  19. Nice pictures Ranger! They look like they are are having a great time!
