  1. While on Cabelas "Spring Thunder" page i found this, http://cabelasspringthunder.com/regional/northeast A link to view the reports in may of turkey hunting.
  2. I had the same thing when i was little. I use to shoot right handed all the time, but always close my right eye. Then while shooting my uncle told me to try your left hand instead. I noticed a difference in accuracy, but it just felt awkard though. So after constant training my body to get use to the feeling and now shooting right handed feels very awkard. Lol. With the left and right handed.gun, i cant tell the difference just have to configure my hand a little bit.and.thats it.
  3. How warm is the jacket without any heat being put out(off)?

  5. I have a question that i have been thinking about after my family has been looking into land to be purchased either in the WNY region or Pa border region. If we were to buy land in Pa would we be consider a Resident or Non-Resident of Pa?

  10. This past hunting season, while walking around i found a treestand. It was located on state land and tbe stand was hang-on 15ft high with a chain lock and no climbing sticks. Tbere was no way for anyone to grab it. Personally i wouldn't just because of safety issue with people taking it, but i dont hunt with treestands so im alright.
  11. I always hunt from the ground during deer season. I feel like your able to do more thing on the ground such as if your not seeing anything you can just get and stalk a little. On the otherhand you have to be realy still, and.blend in well.
  12. I like to use the box and slate calls a lot. Have you guys have any luck with locater call such as owl, crow or woodpecker?
  13. I used the lumenock, where you had to manually turn it off. Personally they benefit during low lighting shots bc you could see where your arrow hit or missed. Expensive personally, but worth it i think
  14. Trust me scouting is the MOST essential hunting TACTIC ever. For my first 2 years of how hunting i seen little due to a lack of scounting. This past season did a lot of scouting and finally got my first deer bc of that. One little tip also don't hunt to hard in small game season, where you are going to hunt for big game(deer). For me the deer patterned me and i never seen one in the spot until i moved to a different one. Also take advantage of trail cameras and ask around to hear what others have seen in your area. GOOD LUCK!!
  15. I live in the Buffalo area(erie county) and would say that most recurve are the same and what about the Hoyt recurves not the Buffalo?
  16. I was thinking about learning recurve for next year bow season. Was wondering if I can get some insight on how to purchase one. What i mean is how do you get the draw length for them, release arrows etc. And just some helpful learning tips i can use when practicing with the recurve?
