Where does safety line attatch to? Heres something to think about- If the line is attatched to crotch area, like a typical rock climbing harness that would rotate you into stand or tree in an awkward position i would think. I like having my tether above me like a typical treestand harness- I think you would have a little bit more mobility this way too.

Many are saying its not a good investment, but to each their own. Timber value roughly every 15 years can offer a nice bonus. We also lease to a farmer that covers our taxes, thats a nice perk.

I just read somewhere land generally increases in value 4-8% per year. That is a decent investment if you ask me.

Great time hitting some practice 3d with my little buddy. Didnt take any arrow photos, I was a tad off. I blew through my rubber string stopper and my shots were all hitting high left and it made a terrible noise. Time for a replacement, glad its now.

What did you do? Hinge cutting? How big of an area?

I had 3 yotes chasing deer on my cam this week. Never saw a group of yotes there yet, always in singles. One was a real nice redish color.

You can only pick ONE, but what is that one project you did that you know improved your hunting for Deer? Personally I would say selectively mowing certain sections to help funnel deer in. At this time this would be my number one enhancement to the property, even though it is very simple. Long term and down the road... I plant trees every year, but at year 9 I am just beginning to see their progress. Just looking for any ideas for habitat managment that you truly believe works.
