  1. I have a Sportsman 700 EFI and it is way bigger and wider then my last machine. (Arctic Cat 400) The 700 has insane power but is a lot less maneuverable on tight trails. Last deer season I used my sons Kawasaki 360 4x4. It was awesome. Enough power, maneuverable, 4 wheel drive and it hauled a few deer out of the woods with no problem. Bigger isn't always better. The EFI is sweet though. No nursing the clutch on those cold mornings.
  2. There will never, ever be enough cops out there. Protect you and yours and don't even consider the Police being able to do it. Pretend that the Police don't even exist. They are just spread too thin, and with the economy the way it is, it's just getting worse.
  3. The whole place is awesome and I hit a bunch of spots. I don't think I hit Seacrets. Spent a lot of time at "the tap house" outside bar, since it was right across the street. Wish I was 25 again..
  4. Unreal ! ...Thursday I was in Ocean City MD. We were driving down the strip and there was a couple on one of those big scooters. The type that isn't quite a motor cycle. They were ahead of us in the right hand lane signaling to turn right at the next intersection. Out of nowhere I see this bicyclist go haling a$$ past us on the right. Just before the scooter starts to turn right Mr. "share the road" tried to pass it on the right, at the intersection. The guy driving the scooter sees the bike on his right, just as he is turning and hits the brake, pulls left, right, left right again and dumps the scooter on the right side. He lands on top of the girl, who was riding on the back, the scooter lands on both of them and of course the goof on the bike never fell but he did stop. We stopped a little ways up and I see the bicyclist standing there with his hands out to his side as if to say to the scooter people "whats wrong with you?" Before I could even start walking over, people were helping the couple to there feet, and two guys were getting right in spandex boys face. These people are a menace

    Hit

Hope you and Mr. Paula heal up quick. It could have been worse.
  6. Looks damn good but 4G's? AAaaahhhh.....No. Not even close.
  7. I have heard nothing but good about them, from a lot of serious bow hunters. I have to get down there one of these days.
  8. I think that the media ignoring crimes like this is a huge part of the problem. If they honestly reported black on white crime as much as they do white on black crime then I think more and more people would demand something be done about all crime, and maybe more would be done about it. A couple months ago, a white man was beaten to death by a group of black kids, in Syracuse. The guy was just standing on the sidewalk outside of a store. Remember how that was plastered all over the national news for weeks??....No??...... Huh.

    First pin

I just have one pin... Its set at 20. I use it the same way Cabin Fever does.
  10. Last year I dialed back from 70 to 65 (shoulder problem) It's more than enough.
  11. Tried posting pics but no go. Some times it works and sometimes it won't send.... Im going to have my daughter try later. But yeah..it shot real tight. Most holes were touching. Im happy. Now if the rifle was a lefty...I'd be REAL happy..LOL!
  12. 17 months is a long wait. What county are you in??
  13. Its an older Remington 700. High gloss wood stock (old school), heavy barrel with a Baush & Lomb 4-24x40 scope.
  14. Congrats ! Good choice in gun and caliber

    NeverWet

The problem with putting stuff on hunting boots is that what ever you put on will get rubbed/worn off pretty quick just by walking through stuff like golden rod, tall grass mud...etc. A good pair of rubber boots is the way to go.
  16. They didn't even issue cleaning kits with the first M-16's because they were not supposed to need cleaning....Wrong...
  17. Im all for exercise and trying to stay fit but some of these cyclists are real jerks. I have a ton of them around me. Must be a local riding club or something. If I am driving along and see one of these spandex models and they seem to be a little too far in my lane I always give a little toot on the horn and with out fail I always get a dirty look or the occasional bird. One time this guy was peddling along, ahead of me when he suddenly gives me some secret cyclist hand signal that I guess meant he was making a u-turn. He turns in front of me so I blow the horn and he goes nuts. He throws down his bike and starts screaming at me about how he's sick of people not giving him the right of way and blah blah. I give it right back to him and here we are yelling at each other in the middle of a country road. I thought I was going to have to get physical with this little twig. What a freaking jerk. ITS A ROAD NOT A BIKE PATH!!!
  18. Yes it does...... It is obvious what these little scum bags are trying to do. How often do we hear them speak out against inner city/gang gun violence? 99.99999% of which, by the way, is committed with illegally possessed guns. True scum bags.
  19. after a little tweaking its dead on at 150yds. According to my 13 year old, I cant post the pic. off of my caveman era flip phone.
  20. Actually a semi auto shotgun with a pistol grip is not an "assault weapon" but a semi auto shotgun with a thumbhole stock is. Thats how much thought these self serving little rats, and their little king, put into this law.
  21. So people (law abiding people) who have hundreds if not thousands of dollars worth of ammo have to use it or loose it by a certain date and buy all new stuff???
  22. The Gander Mtn. in Cicero (Onondaga Co.) is being turned into a "Fire arms super store" according to the store managers. They are expanding their fire arms section 10 fold and are going to have a separate used fire arms section with a "huge selection". Supposed to be done by October. We'll see.
