22's shoot dirtier than hell. If you shoot them a lot, its a good idea to strip them down once a year and give them a good scrubbing. Last year I broke down 2 870's that I own. One I used of ducks and the other for upland hunting. They're both over 20 years old and had never been taken down before. Unbelievable... Besides the gunpowder residue I found dried pieces of golden rod, cat tail, small feathers, seeds and a bunch of crap that I couldn't identify.

Check out the designs before you buy. The wife made me buy a G.E. Profile, side by side. You can't fit anything in it. The storage size is the same as my old fridge but the design stinks. I have tried switching the shelves around but it did no good.

I have seen even bigger bucks than that up in the Old Forge area. The deer get use to the tourists, who feed them. The deer come right out to the road and wait to be fed. It got to the point where a lot deer were getting hit and killed by cars, because they stood in the road waiting to be fed. They finally had to pass a law against feeding deer in that area.

I heard that as long as he appeals the suspension( which he is doing) he can still play until the appeal is settled.

I think they would work well, if you buy the right one. I tried on once. It had tall bicycle type wheels on it so it was too top heavy. I really had to wrestle with the thing to keep it from tipping. Actually it did tip twice before I got the deer back. I use my ATV and a plastic sled.

I hear ya..but what about when this takes full effect? Can you imagine a few days before deer, duck, pheasant season?? The number of people buying ammo will go through the roof. With all these people all trying to buy ammo at the same time, there will be delays.Thats what happens when the background system gets overwhelmed . Im sure that there are a few people on this sight who have gotten a "DELAY" when trying to buy a gun. If the background check comes back "DELAY" people can wait up to a week for a "PROCEED" response from the feds. Like I said..unless the system is significantly simplified, this will be a big joke...
