Good thing none of the people in the theater were armed…..Those Yahoo, incompetent idiots would have just shot each other and caused more horror. Phew. …….The victims did the right thing….Lay there and take it.

Reminds me of Steve Mcqueen in "The Sand Pebblers" -
Same thing happened to me a few years ago. I was on my way out after a morning bow hunt. I broke out of the woods into a plowed field. I looked to my left and there was a big ass coyote staring at me about 40 yards away. I thought it was funny that he didn't run. we did the stare down for close to a minute. Then I started to walk backwards while digging for my pistol. He didn't budge for a while, but then he eventually turned and ran into the woods. Very strange..

My friend has been hunting with a longtrac (Lefty) in 30-06 for the past few years. He raves about that rifle. If I ever went semi auto, thats the rifle I'd buy. -
One of my best stands is just off of a cabbage field. Farts actually help me blend in.

Some of the full sized M&Ps come with a thumb safety. The safety they use is an absolute joke. Its so sensitive that if your thumb even touches it, while firing, it will go back on safe making you think you have a malfunction. That could be a real nightmare in the heat of the moment.

The Ruger SR45 is a real good shooter. I've shot my friends a few times. Great trigger, good sights, ambi safety and mag release. Im seriously considering picking one up. They go for about $500-$550.

I never got the Benny Hill Show..But I watched. They could have been talking about French History, but as long as the Bikini girls were running around it fast motion, I was a loyal viewer.

To answer your question……..YES………"As long as it doesn't affect me right now…..Who cares". The younger generation is clueless and doomed.

A gun cleaning might be worth knocking one or two of those chucks out of your clover field. Don't waste an arrow.

I have a Nikon 2-7x32 on my muzzle loader. Something like that might be a good fit for a gun that is mainly going to be a close up "brush gun" but may also see some farther shots.

Many deer die from lead poisoning, every fall.

I have always shot the plain Jane stuff. Winchester Power Points and mostly Remington core Lokt. They are both accurate, perform very well on deer and are inexpensive. About $20. Federal Fusions and Hornady inter locks (red white and blue box) are getting good reviews and their right around $20-$25. Any of these will work fine.
